Dr Laura Cullen

A practicing GP for the past 12 years with experience providing a high standard of community based primary care. Completed GP training in North Dublin in 2014 and has worked for the best part of the last decade in Bantry West Cork. She relocated back to the east coast with her family in 2025.
She has post graduate training, qualifications and a special interest in women's health with a particular focus on provision of long-acting reversible contraception and menopause care in the community.
Laura has extensive experience in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education and remains involved in the development and provision of continuing professional development for GPs in the area of women's health specifically.
Her research interests include provision of women's health services for those from marginalised backgrounds and recruitment and retention of the general practice workforce.
She also has an advisory role in advancement of women's health services for various bodies at a national level.
